REVIEW PROCESS
Applications are reviewed based on:

The quality and completeness of the application and application materials.
Judgment of the review panel regarding quality of the program(s).
Appropriateness of the program for the majority of the audience.
Attendee reviews from previous Showcases, if applicable.
Professionalism of the applicant based on previous experience at Showcase, if applicable.
For performers: creating a balance between new programs and programs that were performed previously. </nl>
ARTIST APPLICATION FEES
PERFORMER FEE: $35.00 (Fee is non-refundable and does not guarantee that your application is selected.)
If selected, includes: 8 minute performance time (plus 1 minute set-up and 1 minute breakdown), inclusion in the Showcase Directory available to all attendees, a 4’x 6’ display area (see below for display details) and one lunch voucher. Additional lunch vouchers may be purchased for $7.50/person.
DISPLAY ONLY FEE: $25.00 (Fee is non-refundable and does not guarantee that your application is selected.)
If selected, includes: 4’x 6’ display area, inclusion in the Showcase Directory available to all attendees, and one lunch voucher. Additional lunch vouchers may be purchased for $7.50/person. You must provide a table, cables, cords, and any other A/V equipment or set-up materials. HCAC will provide chairs. There are a limited number of spaces with electrical service; early arrival is recommended. Location is not predetermined and set up is on a first-come, first-served basis. Display area must be accompanied at all times by a representative; you may not set up a table without being present.
