This survey is part of a research study conducted by Dr Charles Gouin-Vallerand at Université du Québec-TELUQ (Canada).

Purpose of this Study
The goal of this explorative study is to gather subjective opinions on the recommendation of content (applications, websites) on smart phones in the context of smart cities.

Procedures
In the course of the study, you will be asked to complete an online survey. This survey will begin with general questions on your profile. After that, you will have to give your opinion on the parameters and the behavior of a recommender system in specific scenarios. Finally, general questions will be asked about recommender systems. The estimated time for the survey is maximum 30 minutes.

Participant Requirements
Participation in this study is limited to individuals of age 18 and older.

Risks
The risks and discomfort associated with participation in this study are no greater than those ordinarily encountered in daily life or during other online activities.

Benefits
There may be no personal benefit from your participation in the study but the knowledge received maybe of value to science.

Compensation
There is no compensation on completing this study and there will be no cost to you if you participate in this study.

Confidentiality
The data captured for the research does not include any personally identifiable information about you. Your IP address (address gave by the Internet network to your computer) is collected by the survey tool Survey Monkey, but will not be captured in our database and will not be used during the data analysis.
By participating, you understand and agree that the Université du Québec-TELUQ may use the data and information gathered during this study and published and/or disclosed by Université du Québec-TELUQ to others collaborators outside of Université du Québec-TELUQ, conditionally to a modification of the research approbation delivered by the Ethic Comity on researches involving human being of the TELUQ. Any researchers which will have an access to the data will sign a confidentiality agreement with the Ethic Comity on researches involving human being of the TELUQ.
