Introduction
In preparation for the development of the Council’s Long Term Plan, the Council has considered the future of the Collingwood Resource Recovery Centre (RRC).
The Council’s Engineering Committee have resolved to provide for closure of the Collingwood RRC in the Long Term Plan, but noted that further work was in progress around the decision and alternative options for Collingwood.
In September Council staff presented information to the Golden Community Board in order to seek further information and feedback on any possible alternative options.
This survey is an opportunity for members of communities in the Collingwood and western bay area to give their feedback on the proposal.
