Improving the Management of Cognitive Impairment Consultation Survey - Health Care Providers |
Introduction
The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (the Commission) is consulting extensively on the draft Handbook - Handbook for improving safety and providing high quality care for people with cognitive impairment: A Consultation Paper.
The Commission is seeking comment from both health care consumers and health care professionals to determine how well the draft Handbook:
• Raises awareness of cognitive impairment as a safety and quality issue;
• Provides a useful guide to actions, strategies and resources to improve safety and quality; and
• Demonstrates how actions can be mapped to the National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards.
This consultation survey will take approximately 20 minutes to complete.
This consultation survey is anonymous. The consultation survey is an important part of the national consultation on the Commission's Improving the Management of Cognitive Impairment using the NSQHS Standards Project.

The consultation survey is open for completion until close of business, Tuesday, 10 December 2013.
Completion of the consultation survey is preferred, however, organisations may submit written submissions. Written submissions should be received by close of business, Friday, 6 December 2013.
