Goal
New this year, the Service Fair will provide an opportunity for conference participants to get more involved in hunger work. We are looking to connect young professionals interested in volunteering with hunger and nutrition organizations with specific needs. This will be the center of connecting and networking throughout the conference.

Audience
The Service Fair will be accessed by attendees throughout the event. In 2014, over 350 people attended the CAFB’s spring Hunger Summit; the goal for 2015 is 450 participants. Our target audience is food bank stakeholders: food assistance partners, donors, volunteers, and non-profit partners across Washington, Maryland and Northern Virginia. In the spirit of this year’s theme, Hunger and the Next Generation, we will broaden the scope to reach young professionals and students, engaging them in the CAFB’s mission and work.

Who should apply?
Anyone in need of volunteers! We are looking for food assistance partners, community organizations, and local government agencies to exhibit at the fair. All organizations who wish to participate in the service fair must submit this application. Selected exhibitors will have clear service opportunities rooted in ending hunger.
