Do you feel safer riding your electric bicycle?

There are probably more cyclists on British roads now than at any time in the past couple of decades, which is great news. Not so great are the regular reports of riders being killed and injured, with five fatalities reported in London alone in little over a week.

Do you feel safe out on the road? Do you believe riding an electric bike gives you a safety advantage over non-electric riders? What should be done to improve matters for all cyclists?

We're very keen to hear what you think in this short survey. We feel that electric cycling is safer as it's easier to maintain a higher average speed in traffic, pull away from junctions quickly and tackle hills and headwinds confidently while keeping your eyes on the road. Electric bikes seem to make it more likely you'll keep out of harm's way.

Well, that's our opinion, but what do you think?
