Purpose of the survey: The Upper Peninsula Volunteer Network is a collaborative group which strives to build the capacity of U.P. organizations to connect citizens with meaningful service opportunities that meet critical community needs. The purpose of this survey is to help the Network understand how U.P. nonprofits are engaging volunteers and to identify areas of need regarding volunteer management. The results of this survey will be used as a reference as the Network undergoes strategic planning. Leaders of the U.P. Volunteer Network include Great Lakes Center for Youth Development, United Way of the Eastern U.P., U.P. 2-1-1, Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Dickinson Iron Community Services Agency, RSVP of Delta, Menominee, Schoolcraft and Marinette Counties and RSVP of Marquette County.
