Little Reading Buddy Application

Reading Buddies is a free program at Caldwell Public Library that pairs teen library volunteers in Grades 8-12 with Caldwell-West Caldwell students in Grades K-5 who want to practice their reading skills. Each teen is paired with a Little Buddy to work one-on-one for a 30-45 minute session of reading and listening practice plus reading-related games. Parents or caregivers are expected to remain in the library during the session.

* 5. Reading Buddies can meet anytime the library is open. Please list your preferred days and times for a half hour meeting.
CPL is open Mondays 9am-5pm, Tuesdays 9am-8pm, Wednesdays 12-8pm, Thursdays 9am-8pm, Friday 9am-5pm, Saturdays 10am-4pm.

* 6. Reading Buddies Agreement
I am aware of the dates and requirements of the program. I agree to notify Ms. Jessica at Caldwell Library and my child's Reading Buddy if my child is unable to attend a session. If my child misses 2 or more sessions, his or her Reading Buddy may be assigned to work with another child.
I understand that I must remain at the library during each weekly session.
I agree to help my child participate fully in this program by arriving on time and by encouraging my child to continue his/her reading practice at home.
