Thank you for your interest in Mentor Connection!
Mentor Connection is a new program at City Colleges of Chicago that pairs students with an experienced faculty mentor who is committed to student success.
Faculty mentors are paired with approximately 6 to 10 students per semester. Faculty meet weekly for 30 minutes with each student to discuss topics such as:
- Course material
- Internship opportunities
- Transfer (4-year) options
- Scholarships/grants
- College goals and planning
- Volunteer opportunities
- Career options
Ideal mentor candidates are student-focused and have a track record of mentoring and working one-on-one with students.
We are excited to expand our network of faculty mentors!
