"We call on the RIBA Council to rescind its motion calling for the suspension of the Israeli Association of United Architects (IAUA) from the International Union of Architects. Boycotts harms the peace process by demonising one side rather than bringing Israel and the Palestinians together. This is a one-sided intervention in a complex conflict, and represents a double standard as RIBA is not suggesting action should be taken against any other national architects’ association than Israel’s, even where there are far more egregious human rights issues."
