Listing and annotation: Carnauba wax
Use: As a natural non-agricultural product allowed as an ingredient/processing aid in or on processed products labeled as "organic" or "made with (specified organic ingredients/food groups)".
Common applications: The exudates from the leaves of the Brazilian wax palm tree used as a candy glaze and polish. The crude wax is yellow or dirty green, brittle, and very hard. When mixed with other waxes it makes them harder and gives them more luster.
