Dear HPAE Member,

As we start the New Year, we are preparing for the challenges we will face in 2015.

After discussion and planning with HPAE Local leaders, we have developed a strategic plan for 2015. Here are the essential priorities of the plan:

• Establish “best practices” to build stronger and more effective HPAE locals
• Create stronger bargaining power through coordinated bargaining between and among locals
• Improve our communication with our members and to the public
• Fight for our legislative priorities: staffing, financial transparency of for-profit hospitals, and earned sick leave
• Develop a comprehensive plan for organizing non-union healthcare workers.
• Expand and deepen our relationships with community and faith-based groups

We want to see what you think of it.

Please take a minute or two to complete the survey below.

Sincerely,

Ann Twomey, HPAE President
