Award Description
The Member of the Year award is the OAC’s highest honor and is awarded to a member who goes above and beyond to help the OAC achieve its mission and goals. This individual should be an exemplary OAC member and continually represent the OAC in their efforts to impact the obesity epidemic.
To be eligible to receive this award, the individual must be an OAC member for at least one year. This member should also be an active promoter and involved in OAC-led activities (i.e. Walk, advocacy, committee service, magazine, etc.). National Board members are not eligible to receive this award.
