1. Member Communications in WVYC

Like many organizations, WVYC has been using online and email means for timely member communications
at significant cost and staff time savings.

Examples include an option to access the Foghorn via the website,
and using emails for communicating with members for items such as
weekly updates, notices of meetings, weather advisories and the like.

This short survey is asking members to confirm, update or add their email addresses.

Also, an important new initiative is to be able to also send the weekly email updates
directly to spouses and partners of members. This has been often requested.

Of course, your email addresses will not be used for any other purpose.

4. Many members receive their monthly statement from the Club as an attachment to an email, and view their issue of the Foghorn on the website.

This gets the material to you more quickly, saves staff time in placing these in envelopes, and of course the cost savings of the monthly paper and postage is significant.

NOTE: We currently do not have the capability for a member to receive an electronic invoice AND a paper Foghorn. We can however have a paper invoice and an online Foghorn.
