The European Union has granted this area funding to create jobs, give people skills, develop businesses and generally improve the local environment.

We are specifically interested in the views of people living and/or working in the red areas shown on the map as the non-red areas can already access this type of funding through other routes.

The areas are:

Hull
Tang Hall, York
Goole
Scarborough
Bridlington
Selby
Scunthorpe
Grimsby
Withernsea
Ripon
Skipton
Driffield

Some of the funding is available for local communities to spend in the way that they feel will make the most difference in their area. We want to make sure that local people, businesses and organisations tell us what they think the money should be spent on in their area, to help us to develop plans and direct where the money goes.

We have collected all of the official statistics about your area and now we want to know if they tell us the whole story. This is where we need your help.

Please tell us what you think about the place you live/and or work by completing this survey and if you would like to be involved in any way with helping to shape the programme.

There is a chance to leave us your contact details at the end of the survey. We are also holding a series of workshops that you are welcome to attend if you feel you would like to be more involved. Workshop details follow at the end of the survey.
