[NOTE: the last day to apply for funds is May 15, 2013, 5:00pm PDT]

Pending support from the National Science Foundation, limited funding to support student travel, lodging and/or registration costs for attending XSEDE13 may be available.

Please fill out the following application to apply for student funding to attend XSEDE13. Students who have submitted a paper, poster or visualization for XSEDE13 will be given preference, but we encourage all students attending XSEDE13 to apply. We will review all applicants and will notify you two months before the conference at the latest if you have been granted funding. Students who submitted to the conference will be notified along with their XSEDE13 conference submission acceptance.

The staff of the XSEDE13 Student Program are interested in offering the most beneficial opportunities for its participants. To help address this priority, an evaluation team led by Dr. Lizanne DeStefano at the University of Illinois will be evaluating the program. Your opinion is extremely valuable to improve the program. As a participant in this program, you will be required to participate in the evaluation activities involving surveys, observations, and interviews. You may choose to not have your responses used for research purposes. Regardless, your answers will be kept confidential; we will not report individual responses to faculty/staff or mention any student by name. Whether or not you agree to have your responses used for research purposes will not affect your standing in the program. If you have any questions, please contact Dr. Lizanne DeStefano (destefan@illinois.edu; 217-333-9625) or Lorna Rivera (lirivera@illinois.edu).
