1. It is important to prepare my home for surgery before I leave for the hospital?

2. It is important to establish a discharge plan with my surgeon before I have surgery?

3. A member of the anesthesia team will meet with me before surgery and to provide a nerve block/regional anesthesia to help with my pain?

4. A Physical therapist will see me the day of my surgery if I get to my room by 5pm. They will ask me to review my status and will try to get me out bed on day of surgery?
