Raising Funds for Action Breast Cancer |
Get the Girls to Get on Board
The ISA has partnered with the Irish Cancer Society for our Women on the Water Ireland WOWI) initiative, to combine getting more ladies on the water with raising funds for a charity close to many hearts.
On average 2,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer in Ireland each year. This year WOWI aims to get over 2,000 women on the water in aid of Action Breast Cancer with an aim raising €20,000 for the Irish Cancer Society.
How can you get involved?
Sailors - Bring a female friend out on the water.
Clubs - Organise a ladies regatta / event or run a taster session.
Training Centres - Schedule a ladies only courses or run a taster session.
If you manage to collect a €10 charity donation from each lady, we will be helping a super charity AND getting more ladies to get on board.
