Like the Code? Use the Code? Never heard of it before? We would like to hear from you!

Good Governance - a code for the voluntary and community sector is a code written by the sector for the sector. It is published and maintained by a steering group made up of representatives of ACEVO, ICSA, NCVO, SCC and WCVA, with support from the Charity Commission. It aims to help boards adopt and apply good practice in governing their organisations.

What is this survey about?
Following a survey and consultation in 2008-9, we published a second edition of the Code in 2010, and a version for smaller organisations. Now we want to find out what has changed – whether more organisations are using the Code, and whether the new versions are more helpful.

We want to hear whether your organisation has found the Code useful, where the Code works well and whether there is anything we could do to improve it. We also want to know whether organisations are aware of the Code, and how they get to find out about it.

What will happen to the results?
We will use the results of the survey to improve the Code, the Website and our communications.
