Title I Parent Survey
Thank you for finding the Title I Survey and for providing valuable feedback on the district's Title I program. Perhaps you have found us through your participation at the annual district Title I event or through a flyer sent home to all Title I students requesting feedback. Title I is 100% federally funded and provides financial assistance to school districts to improved educational opportunities for students. Title I programs are designed to help children meet the state standards in reading and language arts.
Each year, according to the district's Title I policy, parents are invited to review the district's parent policy and give feedback on the Title I program, district curriculum, and given an opportunity to submit comments at the district level. Title: 918 Title I Parental Engagement
All primary (K-3) and intermediate (4-6) schools participate in Title I Schoolwide Programs. A Title I school is eligible to become a Title I Schoolwide Program when the poverty level, (determined by free and reduced meal counts) is at or above 40% Schoolwide programs serve all children in a school. All staff, resources, and classes are part of the overall Schoolwide program. The purpose is to generate high levels of academic achievement in core subject areas for all students, especially those students most in need.
