Dear Eliot School Community,

I wanted to reach out to you to inform you of a new initiative we are undertaking at the Eliot School. Over the years, we have seen an outstanding growth in class registration, event participation, schools served through the School Partnership Program, and many other areas. We are excited about this continued growth and we will continue to work hard to meet the overall goals for the school.

Because of this growth and the need for the Eliot School to be in the community to provide art experiences for all individuals, we are creating the Eliot School Volunteer Corps whose mission is to create and increase volunteer opportunities for individuals’ commitment to enhancing and supporting the overall mission of the Eliot School of Fine and Applied Arts.

We are looking for individuals who can commit to being available to be “on call” to volunteer in the following areas:

Special Events:
• Distribution of invitations/catalogs
• Set-Up
• Support staff during the event with supervising a table/area
• Clean-Up
• Moving furniture
• Food/Beverage Servers

School Partnership Program:
• Visual Arts and Woodworking Aides to assist the instructor in the classroom with (set-up, taking attendance, supporting the students with their art class work, cleanup).
• This is a semester long commitment of a minimum of 2 hours per week.

Office Administration:

If you are interested in being part of the volunteer corps, please fill this form out and send it back by May 1st at 5 PM.
