Perception of Reminder Messages

Introduction

Thank you for taking part in this short survey on perception of reminders for the home.

This work is part of the MultiMemoHome project (www.multimemohome.com).

We are interested in designing reminder systems for the home. In order to do this, we need to understand how people process and understand different types of messages or reminders.

The following questionnaire will ask you to read several messages (a different message can be seen at the top of each page) and rate how you feel about each one. The ratings on each page are the same - the reminder type will change on each page.

We are interested in things like 'how direct a message is', 'how polite it sounds', 'how private it seems', and 'how urgent it seems' and so on.

There are no right or wrong answers - we just want to collect different views on how different messages are perceived. Your name and other details will not be stored directly with your responses - they will be anonymised and kept confidential to the research team.

There are 30 short questions in total and it should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete.
