1. What is Volunteering?

Volunteering is simple. It's about giving your time to do something useful without getting paid (apart from expenses).

Volunteering can be a great way to: meet new people, learn new skills and gain useful experience. It should also be fun and you get the satisfaction of time and effort well spent.

This survey asks you some questions about volunteering so that in the future we can plan volunteering activities that you and other young people will be interested in.

There are no right or wrong answers – we are interested in your views and opinions.

We want to hear from young people from Greater Manchester aged 13-25.
