Assaults on crowd controllers in and around licensed premises in NSW is an issue that has been raised as one of growing concern among crowd control providers. The issue has also been the subject of discussion by the Security Licensing & Enforcement Directorate (SLED) Advisory Council.

To identify the scope and extent of this issue, ASIAL is conducting a survey of crowd control providers. Information collected will be used to inform further discussion on the issue and to identify ways in which safety can be enhanced and workplace conflict reduced.
