Many dogs suffer from orthopaedic problems (problems involving their bones, joints, tendons or ligaments) in their life time, and some of these will need surgery. Management of orthopaedic conditions, both those that need surgery and those that don’t can be challenging, especially when exercise restrictions and other changes in routine are imposed. We are researching the impact on both dog and owner of managing an orthopaedic condition either post-operatively or long-term (i.e. conditions that are life-long) and would be grateful for your input if your dog falls into one of these categories. Your experiences will be extremely valuable in helping us to improve the care of canine orthopaedic patients in the future.

Questionnaires submitted are anonymous, and by completing a questionnaire, you agree to your responses being used for the purposes of this research. Submitted questionnaires will be accessed only by those directly involved in the study. We look forward to hearing about your experiences.

If in the last 5 years you have had more than one dog that has suffered / suffers from orthopaedic problems, please complete the questionnaire for the dog whose name comes first alphabetically.
