About Visual Communication in the Core:  All courses in the core are responsible for Visual Communication however faculty have significant latitude in how they implement visual communication.  Charts, graphs, diagrams, models, concept maps, PowerPoint slides and illustrations are just a few examples that fall into the category of visual communication.

Indicate any cells in the Visual Communication rubric that are unclear.  "Cells" refers to descriptions of performance as it relates to the four dimensions (Organization, Image Type, etc.)  Please pay particular attention to the Developing and Basic performance levels of the rubric as the assessment will be applied to work from students that are early in their academic career.  As such, the majority would not be expected to perform at the Mastery or Proficient levels.
