Introduction

Hello and thank you for taking a few minutes to complete our community survey for the Traralgon to Morwell Shared Pathway Feasibility Study.

The Feasibility Study is at a stage where broad community input is important. We are working to plan and conceptually design a feasible and achievable route for a shared walking and cycling path between to the two townships, taking into account potential challenges such as land ownership, environmental regulations, safety, infrastructure requirements and potential use. A number of these factors may dictate the specific route.

The purpose of this survey is to gain a greater understanding of how the community might use this sort of pathway, what you would like to see included in any pathway development and how it might benefit you and or your family.

This survey will take about five minutes to complete (there are 10 multiple choice questions) and your responses will help guide us as we move through to a more detailed design phase as well as assisting in identifying how the trail will be used by you and, consequently, how we should construct it to maximise benefits to the community.

We are gathering responses to this survey throughout July and August, with the final day for completion of the survey being September 16, 2013.

Any information you provide will be used only in the completion of this specific project.

At this point, the pathway is still at feasibility stage. No funding or approvals have been provided to undertake any works however, your input now is important in making a genuine and well researched case for any future possible work.

If you have any questions regarding this survey, please feel free to contact Karen Tsebelis at Latrobe City Council on email karen.tsebelis@latrobe.vic.gov.au

Thanks again for your input!
