1. Why bother?
The purpose of this survey is to learn who today's Third Culture Kids (TCKs) are. For the purpose of this survey, a TCK is one who has spent a significant part of his/her developmental years in a culture other than the parents' home culture. A TCK develops a sense of relationship to all the cultures in his/her life without having full ownership in any of them. A TCK incorporates elements from each culture into his/her life experience, but his/her sense of belonging is in relationship to those of similar experience.
The information gathered here will help shape different organizations' and people's understanding of TCKs and how best to serve you and the next generation of TCKs.
