SPEEA members in the Technical Unit voted to reject Boeing's latest contract offer. This second contract offer rejection, along with your vote to grant strike authorization, sets the stage for a new phase of negotiations. The Technical Negotiation Team’s goal remains to return to the bargaining table with Boeing and secure an agreement acceptable to Technical Unit members. We informed the Federal Mediator of the vote and expect to resume negotiations with Boeing.

The more than 7,500 technical employees are critical to every phase of operation at Boeing. Techs are key to production, designing, testing, calibration/metrology, customer service and work throughout Boeing facilities around Puget Sound and in Oregon. Without technical employees, Boeing is not Boeing.

The Technical Negotiation Team wants to hear from all Tech members to better understand your priorities as we enter this new phase of negotiations.
