Code of Ethics Survey 2014
We are reviewing the current Code of Ethics and are looking for your valuable input. We have created a survey that will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. For your convenience, you are able to stop, reflect and return to complete the survey at any point and will not lose what you have shared.
The Code guides registered nurses in their day-to-day practice and helps them understand their responsibilities in caring for clients in a safe, ethical and effective way. It describes the ethical standards of the nursing profession and applies to RNs working in all domains of practice, including clinical, education, administration or research. The Code assists RNs in working through ethical challenges that arise in their practice settings.
The survey questions refer directly to the current CNA Code of Ethics and outline the values and ethical responsibilities included. The review includes seven nursing values each followed by responsibility statements. Please review each section before answering the questions that follow.
