• This is not a vacation – it is a structured class! If your only interest in taking this course is “seeing Tanzania”, please do not apply for this class!
• While the instructors will make every effort to provide stimulating educational content, the itinerary in Tanzania can and will change based on the availability of our collaborators.
• UC’s academic code of conduct applies while in Tanzania.
• There are a limited number of spaces within this class.
• Students are expected to meet the instructors academic and behavioral expectations during the class time leading up to the travel component. Students who do not meet academic and/or behavioral expectations will not be permitted to travel. Students in this situation will not receive a refund.
• Students' academic and behavioral engagement during the study tour is expected to be consistent with the professor's expectations. You are expected to participate in each piece of the travel itinerary; your engagement will impact your grade.
