Youth Employment - Not for Profit Organisations |
Introduction to Youth Employment Project for Not for Profit Organisations
Thames-Coromandel District Council is conducting a series of surveys during 2015 to ascertain how many youth gain and retain employment on the Coromandel Peninsula. For the purposes of this survey we are defining 'youth' as 15 to 24 years of age inclusive.
Smart Waikato’s Futureforce™ Action Network (FAN) will launch in the district in partnership with TCDC and Smart Environmental Limited; at an event on April 29, 2015 for employers, educators, not for profit organisations and other leaders. FAN is a network of Waikato employers, educators and community groups keen to play their part in combating skills shortages and youth unemployment. Registering gives free access to online resources, FAN Update, FAN Youth Job Board and information about seminars.
Release date for this survey is 9th March 2015 and closing date has been extended to 17th May 2015, the aim is to have feedback for the Futureforce Active Network on 20th May 2015.
Your information will be of value to the youth of Coromandel and we thank you for completing this survey.
For further information please contact Marlene Perry, Community Development Officer, Thames 027 703 0263 or marlene.perry@tcdc.govt.nz
