Our research group is investigating the effective way of teaching of Japanese pronunciation overseas. When learners study Japanese overseas, there may be fewer opportunities to listen to native speakers’ pronunciation; hence the learners’ pronunciation may be more influenced by their native language.

This questionnaire is investigating the current situation, how and how often Japanese pronunciation is taught overseas. The result will provide us with information to discuss how we can improve the learners’ pronunciation. It will take approximately 10 minutes of your time to complete the questionnaire.

Your privacy and that of your institution will be held in the strictest confidence.
