White Lake Township - Stanley Park Public Input
Stanley Park Public Input Survey
The Stanley Park property was acquired by White Lake Township with assistance from a 2018 Michigan Natural Resources Trust Fund Grant. This 57-acre property is the former Brendel Lake Campground property located off Elizabeth Lake Road, and has remnants of the previous development including the former campground building, a water well, and wetland crossings. The property has significant topography, a lakeshore riparian zone, wetlands, large mature trees, and native plant communities.
White Lake Township is embarking on a master plan process for the park, which involves gathering input from the public and stakeholders. The township and consultants will review this input and use it to develop possible plans for the park. Once a master plan is complete, the township can seek grant funding for any improvements to the property.
We need your input on what you think the future of the park should be! The following survey has a few brainstorming questions to assist in gathering your input. If you attended the in-person brainstorming event, these questions are a duplicate.
