One Voice is committed to advancing public confidence and support for the nonprofit sector by exemplifying ethical practices, accountability and the highest standards of quality service. In 2008, One Voice approved a Nonprofit Accountability Policy, encouraging members to commit to accountability standards. One Voice members agree to undergo an annual organizational self assessment and submit a copy of the self-assessment to One Voice. The information will be compiled and used to educate funders and policy makers about the administrative and infrastructure needs of nonprofits and to advocate for necessary resources. It may also be used to facilitate mentorship relationships between member organizations. Individual agency information will be kept confidential.
