2013 STONE SOUP for the 21st Century: Best Practices in Education |

Stone Soup for the 21st Century was a smashing success with over 1,000 attendees! Join us for the third course on March 23, 2013 at Rippowam Middle School and the Academy of Information Technology and Engineering!
Stone Soup 2013 will focus on Best Practices in Education and on the many services, agencies, programs and organizations serving Stamford’s families.
The morning session which will be held at Rippowam Middle School, will focus on Best Practices in Education, and is being organized by Stamford Public Schools and the Stamford Public Education foundation. It will begin with presentations by two key note speakers from 9AM to 10AM, followed by two sessions of workshops at AITE from 10:15AM to noon.
In response to your suggestions, we have made some changes to the Stone Soup event, which we hope will make it even better. You will enjoy the following:
• Midway – a booth or table-based interactive, carnival like game or activity to showcase the services of the organization.
• Demonstrations – Half hour (or less) presentations by children and/or adults doing something they have learned- a real way of showing what individuals who use your service gain in the process.
• Performance – Performances of dance, music, martial arts, theatre, and more that our families will enjoy.
