2015 Sonoma County Point-in-Time Homeless Count Volunteer Registration

On the morning of the 2015 Point-in-Time Homeless Count (Friday, January 23rd), volunteers will be asked to work with expert homeless guides recommended by service providers, and drive/walk all over assigned routes from approximately daybreak to 10am. Volunteers are expected to have a car and a cell phone, be willing to help with transportation needs, and be able to walk approximately 2-3 miles if necessary. Noone will be asked to walk into any area or place where your safety may be a concern. Additionally, all volunteers are strongly recommended to attend a training session. Training details are listed below.

a. Field Team Counter/Enumerator (~90 needed) - Needed on January 23rd from 6am-10am to work with expert homeless guides and drive/walk all over assigned routes to count homeless individuals. Enumerators should be able to walk 2 miles in a 4-hour period and be comfortable on the street.

b. Deployment Center Team Member (~10 needed)- Needed on January 23rd from 6am-10am at deployment centers to help send out homeless enumeration teams.

c. Survey Distribution Team Member (~10 needed) - Needed on or around January 31st and continuing for a couple of weeks to collect and distribute survey paperwork.
