Please email sextherapiststlouis@yahoo.com for information about other workshops.

About the program:

Discover, develop, renew, and update Sensate Focus suggestions (the foundation of sex therapy) for a diverse client population, re-examine its value for working with couples' intimacy, relationship, & sexual concerns, and examine its association with mindfulness practice. Dr. Constance Avery-Clark and Linda Weiner, MSW, LCSW, will go beyond what has been published by Masters & Johnson, presenting later clinical applications for GLBT populations, trauma survivors, Spectrum couples, and those with chronic illness or disability. The use of Sensate Focus 1 for those with sexual distress versus use of Sensate Focus 2 for those seeking to optimize their intimate and sexual relationship will also be included. Update your conceptualizations and skills and join the conversation!
