Program Overview:
The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) is trying to determine the number of interested Washington State firms certified as Minority, Small, Veteran and Women’s Business Enterprises (M/S/V/WBE) who would like to participate as a Protégé in a new Mentor Protégé Program.
Program Requirement:
A minimum of one year dedication to partnership involving existing businesses that agree to work together to address matters necessary to help enhance the protégé business’s success.
Project Goals:
To enhance the business skills of Protégé firms;
Increase the number of M/S/V/WBE firms doing business with WSDOT;
Broaden the base of Protégé firms’ construction activity; and
Build long-term stability of Protégé firms.
