Community Attitudes & MEARNG

Representatives of the Maine Army National Guard (MEARNG) Training Site in Auburn are participating in a Joint Land Use Study (JLUS) with the City of Auburn. MEARNG is interested in exploring community attitudes toward its presence and activities on Mount Apatite Road. I am very proud of the men and women who serve in the armed forces and support all of their training activities and sites because we need well trained personnel.

I think a military presence is important but I do not support some of the government policies that cause our men and women to be engaged overseas
