Welcome to Montclair State University! We hope you are excited to be a part of Red Hawk Country! As a participant in The Red Hawk 411, we would like to invite you to spend the night on campus! This program will jump start meeting your classmates and experience life on campus.
This program provides incoming first-year students with a more extensive and engaging orientation experience. Spending the night on campus, participating in activities, and meeting Peer Leaders and fellow classmates are all part of the evening. All first-year students attending The Red Hawk 411 are eligible to participate.
Overnight Options:
Red Hawk Overnight Orientation Experience (Option 1) - $75
Includes all-night on campus activities, dinner, a room in Machuga Heights, pizza, & movie
Students must provide their own linens
Red Hawk Overnight Orientation Experience (Option 2) - $120
Includes off campus trip on the Spirit of New Jersey through the New York City Harbor, a room in Machuga Heights, pizza, & a movie
Students must provide their own linens
Family Housing - $45 per person
If you are traveling from afar and need to spend the night, overnight accommodations can be arranged.
Please note that the fee covers the cost of the room only. Linens will be provided.

Payment in advance by check is required and should be mailed to our office within 3 business days of registering.
Fee is non-refundable and is required in order to reserve your seat.
