Target Audience: Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians working in I/T/U settings

Course Overview:
The IHS Pharmacy Last Wednesdays Webinar Series has been initiated to address the needs of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in I/T/U settings. Specifically, the series address five (5) areas: 1. Recent Evidence-Based Therapeutic Guidelines; 2. New Practices/Clinical Collaboration Models within IHS; 3. The Scope of Practice and Standards of Practice of IHS Pharmacy; 4. Ongoing Professional/Legal Changes in the Pharmacy Profession; and 5. Issues Confronting Institutional or Ambulatory Care Practice.

Learning Objectives:

As a result of completing this training, participants will be able to:
1. Measure rates of medication adherence through various quality measures in the Indian Health Service.
2. Utilize ideas for improving medication adherence in daily practice.
3. Implement medication synchronization services in local pharmacy programs.
