Roommate Mediation

 
Objectives: Staff members will learn how to effectively mediate conflicts between roommates while maintaining neutrality, learn how to set ground rules for effective communication in the process, learn when and how to involve the RHD, and learn how to prevent the spread of the situation to the floor and the building community. Staff members will also learn how to effectively refer parents to the Residence Hall Director when receiving e-mails or phone calls.
