1. Award Nomination

Recycling Award Nomination Guidelines:
1) Nominations must be complete or they will not be accepted. Nominees must include full descriptions regarding the questions asked. Please ask the nominee for the correct information if needed.
2) We have reduced the number of categories this year, in order to streamline the awards process and to spotlight the awardees.
3) One comprehensive nomination is better than many nominations. The nominees are selected based on the quality of their work, not on how many times nominated.
4) You are welcome to nominate yourself, your entity or any person or entity that you feel is worthy.
5) NMRC staff and board members are welcome to submit nominations.

Recycler of the Year – Awarded to a person who has shown significant contributions to recycling in NM

Organics Recycler of the Year: Awarded to either a person or entity for significant contributions to the diversion of organics material.

Recycling Hauler or Processor of the Year: Awarded to a company that either hauls recyclables or processes them that has done a great job recycling and ensuring diversion is increased.

Small Business Recycler of the Year – Awarded to a small business that has done a great job recycling.

Large Business Recycler of the Year – Awarded to a large business that has done a great job recycling

Community Recycler of the Year – Awarded to any community-level program for its recycling program management. This can include a city, town, village, county, tribe, nation or nonprofit

Recycling Activist/Activist Group of the Year

Solid Waste Authority Recycler of the Year

Federal or State Government Recycler of the Year – Awarded to a federal or state run agency or facility for their recycling efforts either at their facility or in the community they are located in.
