Thank you for nominating someone for this special Boston College alumni recognition. The John A. Dinneen, S.J. Hispanic Alumni Community Service Award is awarded annually at the Archbishop Oscar A. Romero Scholarship Ceremony in front of the largest gathering of members and friends of the Hispanic/Latino community of Boston College. We appreciate your support with your nomination and hope you will be able to join us in March 2014 for what promises to be an extraordinary night.
We want to make this process as easy as possible for you. We'll begin by asking you for very basic contact information, then ask you why you are nominating this person, and we will reach out to your nominee to provide us with more detailed information about his/her work or service. Just a reminder, here are some requirements that we think are important for all of our nominees:
- an alumna/us of Latin American descent
- who graduated at least five years ago from a Boston College undergraduate or graduate program,
- and whose work or service best reflect Archbishop Romero's ideals and Fr. Dinneen's commitment, leadership and service to the Latino community
For information on previous recipients, Fr. Dinneen, and Archbishop Romero, please visit our website.
Nominations must be completed by Tuesday, January 28, 2014.
On behalf of our committee, thanks again for your time. We will review your nomination and keep it active for 3 years.
