Expanding the role of Pharmacists - A survey in Abu Dhabi pharmacies |
1. Introduction
The standard of professional services provided by Pharmacists to the community in handling medicines is of increasing importance. Therefore, it is crucial that pharmacy practice be effectively evaluated, monitored, managed and improved.
The survey is being conducted by HAAD Pharma /Medicines and Medical Products Department to assess the existing pharmacy infrastructure and dispensing standards within Abu Dhabi pharmacies. In addition, the survey also intends to assess the interest and ability of community pharmacies to undertake additional roles and responsibility in providing patient care and counseling services after additional credentialing through specialized CPEs.
Please take a few minutes to complete the survey, with the results being intended to be a starting point of an interactive discussion and basis for updating and/or upgrading the pharmacy practitioner and facility standards in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
