Volunteer Information
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the 25th NYC Century Bike Tour. There are many opportunities for you to choose from. Whether you want to ride, set up, help out at a local park, or guide bicyclists through tricky intersections, Transportation Alternatives staff (and all of our NYC Century Bike Tour riders) can use your help!
How Volunteer Registration Works:
Our volunteer opportunities are organized by event day. When you pick an event-day option, you chose the volunteer opportunity you wish to do, then the location. You can only volunteer for one position/location, but you will be able to select multiple shifts.
Right now we are especially in need of volunteers for the following locations and shifts:
Central Park Start/Finish Site Registration - 5:00am-10:00am
Prospect Park Start/Finish Site Registration - 5:00am-8:00am
Astoria Park Rest Stop - 7:00am-12:30pm & 12:00pm-5:00pm
Forest Park Rest Stop - 7:30am-12:30pm & 12:00pm-4:00pm
Brooklyn Bridge Stationary Marshal - 5:30am-10:00am
We love groups! Please contact us to register a group of five or more volunteers at volunteer@transalt.org.
