Webinar Sign Up: "Incorporating Sustainable Practices for Strawberry Production"

March 11th from 3:00-4:30pm (Eastern Standard Time)

 

The webinar will cover sustainable soil management and integrated pest management practices that can easily be integrated into plasticulture strawberry production systems. Topics to be covered include soil health, compost, cover crops, soil testing, integrated pest management practices and ideas for incorporating these concepts into a plasticulture production system. We will primarily focus on practices suited for producers in the SE United States but the general concepts could be applied elsewhere.


Presenters include: Dr. Michelle Schroeder-Moreno (Dpt. of Crop Science, NCSU), Dr. Hannah Burrack (Dpt. of Entomology, NCSU) and Amanda McWhirt (Dpt. of Crop Science, NCSU).

Online registrants will be sent a link to join the webinar online prior to the date of the event and will be provided with directions for checking their computer configurations.  If you live in the area and would like to attend the webinar in person on North Carolina State University's (NCSU) campus in Raleigh, NC we will provide directions and locations for parking.
