Surgeons' Perceptions Survey 2

Question Title

1. Dear Colleague,

We are contacting members of the Canadian Orthopaedic Association and the Orthopaedic Trauma Association to ask about surgeons’ knowledge, attitudes, and beliefs about intimate partner violence. This is in follow up to a survey conducted in 2008 and 2009. We would like to know how orthopaedic surgeons’ perceptions have changed since that time to help us direct our future research and educational endeavours.

Your participation in the survey would be very much appreciated. Your responses will be completely anonymous and confidential and will be released only in combination with those of the other respondents of the study. This survey has received approval from the Hamilton Integrated Research Ethics Board (project #14-044) and should take about 10 minutes to complete. We appreciate that you are taking the time to do this survey. Please try to answer the questions honestly and to the best of your ability.

You are encouraged to answer only those questions that apply to your practice and should you wish to withdraw from the study you may do so by closing your browser window without submitting the survey. You may wish to complete this survey in a private area so others cannot see your responses. If you have any questions please contact Kim Madden the study coordinator at maddenk@mcmaster.ca or 905-527-4322 x44702.

Please confirm that you are currently practicing as an orthopaedic surgeon and that you have not completed this survey previously.
