* 1. The Washington CTC presidents, SBCTC staff, and commissions/councils have all agreed to improve pre-college education. They have asked our work group to investigate potential barriers and identify best practices for student success among basic skills (ABE/ESL) and developmental education students. Our group is charged with helping improve student supports for this group.

As someone who works with students to support transitions to college level work and student success, we are asking for your input to help us identify federal, state, and local policies, regulations and practices that create barriers to implementing new and/or current services to support successful transition for students enrolled in basic skills and/or developmental education. We estimate that you will need about 10 minutes to complete the survey.
